    Healthy Green Avocado Basil Salad Dressing (vegan)

    Spring has sprung, and with it the cravings for lighter, brighter food. This creamy plant-based salad dressing fits the bill! Bonus, it's also super fast and easy to make.

    Made with refreshing basil, creamy avocado, and zesty lemon, it whips up it under 10 minutes. This pesto inspired dressing is perfect for topping a garden salad, dipping veggies, or even as a pasta sauce (awesome for pasta salad!). It's also oil-free, gluten-free, vegan, paleo, and keto friendly! Perfect for everyone to enjoy.

    Creamy Basil Avocado Salad Dressing

    This healthy homemade salad dressing is delicious, creamy and super easy to make. 

    Prep Time 10 minutes

    Ingredients

    • ½ cup fresh basil (packed)
    • 1.5 lemons (juiced)
    • ½ avocado (peeled and pitted)
    • ½ cup water
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 2 tablespoon nutritional yeast
    • 1 clove garlic (minced)

    Instructions

    1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

    2.  If using a large blender you may need to double the recipe to blend properly. Salad dressing will last about 5 days in the fridge.
